Captain of the Watch

Farsightedness: The Butterfly Effect states that a butterfly that flaps its wings in Malaysia could cause a typhoon in British Columbia. So too could minor variations in one part of the board affect play across the board. The Captain of Watch asesses the board for all possible impacts - both immediate and long-term.

...and I've just remembered that I'm out again tonight (thankfully not
a binge boozing session like last Friday), so the retreat/winter
adjudication will be 9am GMT on Saturday. Sorry.
