Mike,
I hear that you asked people to reconsider if they wanted to continue
this
exchange in public and I'm glad that you did because this does seem a
step too
far.
Clearly Alex feels bitterly disapointed but based on my, admittedly
limited,
knowledge of the man I'd say this is out of character. Afterall, I let
him
down badly with my stab but nevertheless Alex has been a total gentleman
in
his behaviour towards me. His message this morning, which had nothing to
do
with in-game communications btw, even put a broad, broad grin on my
face.
I hesitate to say that we're playing a game because Alex has already
re-educated me about that so let me just say it's a hobby that arrouses
the
passions! It is a hobby though that most of us first got involed in by
having
some mates round, getting the beers in and rummaging around the house
for
scrap paper and as many pencils as we could find! It's just more friends
and a
bigger house now that's all.
All the best,
Paul.
Quoting Alexander Schmidt <wecanworkthisout(at)yahoo.com>:
Germs-many, you're a total tool. And what are you even getting out of
this?
The promise that Russia's big brother won't give you cement shoes??
Grow a
pair!!!

It doesn't get any better than this guys, so much is going on!
In the west:
Germany goes all out against France , helping Russia to take
Liverpool, and
England to retake their capital...
In the east:
Everything's a mess as Austria orders his last unit to move instead of
taking
the Italian support... and I have no idea what's going on in Asia !
Italy cuts
the support that would have moved the Turk out of Smy, everyone
attacks
everything, but in the end not a single unit moves.
This all makes for a Fabulous Friday as a ton of orders are due:
RETREATS:
France: F Liverpool can retreat to IRI or NAT or OTB.
Germany: F English Channel can retreat to IRI or Belgium or OTB.
Austria: A Tri can retreat to Alb, but it is irrelevant so Dale,
thank you
for your commitment to the end of the game, and hope you do better
next time!
Pls send me an EGS and I'll hold it till the end, or post it yourself
if you
like.
Note two units can retreat to IRI - if they do, they both disband!
BUILDS:
France: Remove 2
Germany: Build 1
Italy: Remove 1
Russia: Build 3
RETREATS, BUILDS, and REMOVALS are all due tomorrow 4pm Pacific!
*** There is no separate retreat phase to see the retreats first. ***
(I will send out the results any time I have a full set)
Note if Germany retreats OTB or disbands by a clash in IRI, then
Germany is
Build 2 so be sure to order conditional builds.
