Thanks so much everyone. I hope to see some of you in the second round.
We are starting to get things resolved here. It's not great, but better.
You have to play the hand life deals you.

It's great to hear that, Rob! Now get on your horse and crush the opposition...

Ilya speaks the truth! It was a pleasure to play with you all, but the moderation was superb, unbeatable! We thank you for your service to us.
To the rest of you- thank you so much. This was my first game of diplomacy in years. Glad to be back on the proverbial horse. We shall see how future rounds treat us. I will gladly say that I think we had world peace. The evil Germans, of course, were wiped off the map.

Game end!
Berkeley’s Blitz is over with a 4-way Draw for England, Russia, France & Turkey!
The EGP vote was unanimous and thus the game ends and the map does not change.
I shall post the result to the website very soon.
Thank you all for playing - I hope you all enjoyed the game. Please feel free to post any End-of-Game statements by email to us all, and/or to blitz2014(at)diplomaticcorp.com

Spring 1903
Rewind: Nobody NMR’d!
The English navy has a successful Spring bombardment and takes Kiel! Russian Fleets destroy the Danish Army, and Germany is annihilated!Austria still hangs on and sails his Fleet up the Adriatic, while the remaining Army loses his bearings and stands still in Vienna, thinking he was in Venice. Russia invades Budapest, while Turkey has a cabinet re-shuffle.
No retreats as the Fleet Kiel and Army Denmark had nowhere to go.
We say goodbye to Austin, Germany is eliminated.
I don’t quite know what happened with the missing orders. They eventually turned up late, but with valid timestamps in my Spam mailbox. Sorry for the late adjudication. I have also verified with the backup - thanks to Mike Simms.
We can all learn from this - it’s essential that you all copy to orders(at)diplomaticcorp.com, and I need to be more trusting than to believe I had 3 NMR’s! I am reasonably sure that I have the complete set now, as the ones I found matched what you all told me, plus the TD has forwarded the contents of orders(at) .
If not, we will have to delay and ask the TD to help here.
One thing to note: I do always acknowledge receipt. If you you don’t get an ack, then please send a
separate email saying you’ve sent orders but had no ack. If the spam filters are being tripped by some content in your email, it’s important to not just repeat the same thing again.
