What an interesting battlefield Europe has become in 1906:a look at the map shows a NW - SE corridor of war with a rather peaceful NE and SW. All these close-combat situations and strategically clever moves have caused several countries to change Powers quite unexpectedly. And half of the remaining Powers have retreats this Autumn: Russia, Germany, and England. And has Italy just been backstabbed by Russia or is it only an inconvenient misunderstanding? I bet it is for Italy!
