WOW! An Italian stab! Is it too good to be true? BLAH.

Isn't it too early to be calling for a draw proposal that will pass in about 5 years.

Seven units actually move. None retreat. For so little movement, one wonders why I should update the map Smile It makes one long for a frisky cavalry unit romping around unfettered behind enemy lines. But, in the end, three supply centers change hands, so I guess I had better update.

Austria and England can sit out the Winter. Everybody else owes me either a build or a disband (see the end of the adjudication to find out which).

There is a draw proposal on the table. Specifically, it is for an AIR draw. Following the tournament rules, I need votes from everybody by next Monday's S1905 adjudication. The draw succeeds only if all seven players vote in favor; a single NO or abstention will kill it. All votes are confidential.

In other news, the organizers of DC are looking for GMs and have asked me to post the following:

Message from DC: Would you like to GM a game? Improve your skills and help out the club. We are always in need of new GMs. If you think you can help, please email Mike at mike(at)southwall.com (mike(at)southwall.com) or Trout at former.trout(at)gmail.com (former.trout(at)gmail.com)

Personally, I'm beginning to think being a GM is more fun than playing. You get all of the vicarious thrill of stabs and genius without having to suffer through actually talking with the other players. I mean to say, geez, if it weren't for the other players, I'd solo every game.
