Shhhhhh!  Don't tip him off.  He'll never see it coming.

I was just afraid that Steve might fire off a quick set of orders reflecting the 'disband 3' guide, afterall I'm sure it would come as a deep shock to him to see the Germans turn up on the beaches of southern France with sudden holiday plans!

Best,

Paul.

I believe the rules of the tournament include for conditional builds/disbands due to the quick nature of the tournament.  So, if Steve only submits three disbands on the thought that I'll be nice and not retreat to MAR... well then, he should pay for being so naive.  Smile

Thanks for stepping in again.

Might it be an idea either to ask Kevin to broadcast his retreat ahead of the winter deadline or else to ask Steve (Italy) for conditional disbands. I'm sure we'd all agree it would only be fair that Steve should have tthe opportunity to nominate an additional disband rather than to have to take one 'by rule' if Kevin drops BUR into MAR.

Best,

Paul.

Heya folks,

Results come out a little later in the day than you're used to.  Apologies for that - hope it doesn't throw any of you off.  But while Adam is away, the TDs will play - or so they say.  =)

The Fall 08 turn doesn't bring any relief to Italy or Germany, although the Kaiser does manage to find a home away from home in Edinburgh.  There was one retreat owed from the Germans in Burgundy.  That retreat, plus the Winter 08 adjustments, will be set due for Friday, Mar 6th (11:59 PM GMT).  Please note the evening deadline to compensate for the later adjudication tonight..

Thanks to everyone for CCing the orders inbox..  Please continue to do so for the Winter turn, as Adam will not be back until next week.  Just let me know if you spot any errors.  Cheers!
