Hello all,

As has been the case alomst permanently during this game I'm a little pressed for time but will do a full EOGS as soon as I can. Just wanted to congratulate Garry on overcomming the obstcles, real world and diplomatic, to score his win. Well played too to Kevin & both Steves and many, many thanks to Adam. I had the pleasure of playing in a game Run by Mike Sims last year and remember saying in my EODG then that GMing can't be done any better. Adam has shown here that it can though certainly be done as well!

Thanks to all for a combative but friendly and respectful game. Good luck to all in round two, particularly Garry who now has a chance to win the tourney and make board 233 look good.. As an added incentive for you Mr Bledsoe, if you get yourself a prize I'll offer you my own winning certificate from last year which I never did spend. (Transatlatic shipping not being so green.)

More when I can,

Paul.

Well, the EOGs could be interesting for this game... I will be interested to hear how all of you respond.

Austria ascends to the throne whilst grinding Paris, Marseilles, and Spain under his heel.

Alas, Germany is simultaneously eliminated.

If you haven't confirmed your participation for Round 2 at the DC website, please do so soon.

My thanks to everybody, especially Austria, Germany, and Italy, none of whom ever NMR'd. Not even Steve. Really.
