Hi Everyone,

Thanks for sending in your country requests. I've sorted through them, flipped a couple of coins, and come up with the following:

I hope everyone is happy with these assignments.

The first deadline will be Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at 8am GMT. However, I would greatly appreciate preliminary orders from all of you by Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at 8am GMT. This will not be a requirement for every season, but I strongly encourage you to submit preliminary orders for every season at your earliest convenience. Barring delays, future deadlines will fall on Tuesdays at the same time. Retreats and Winters will then fall on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

For this game, we'll be using the Diplomaticcorp default house rules with the following changes:
1. I will give each of you one 24-hour grace period if you are late in submitting orders. If you are late in submitting your orders after using your grace period, you risk receiving an NMR.
2. In the unfortunate event that a country enters civil disorder, I will seek a replacement player.
