PREV  Spring 1997 Adjudication:  NEXT

At last, the moment we've all been waiting for. Armies mobilize, fleets set sail, and war takes its first steps in South East Asia! There is one bounce this turn, in Laos, as both China and Vietnam make their claim on the territory, but the Chinese may need to make a gamble with two potential enemy fleets sailing within sight of Hong Kong. Another choice is made difficult for Malaysia, as Indonesia sails towards Singapore or Kuala Lumpur (or neither, but that's for him to know and us to find out).

Fall 1997 deadline is 1 May. As I will be leaving for holiday that evening, get in your orders before the calendar changes and we'll figure out how to arrange the following turns.

Australia:
F Port Hedland - South Indian Ocean
A Darwin Hold
F Cairns - Arafura Sea

China:
A Kunming - Laos (*Bounce*)
A Guiyang - Guangxi
F Guangzhou - Hong Kong

Indonesia:
F Surabaya - Java Sea
A Jakarta - Central Java
F Medan - Malacca Strait
A Balikpapan - Sabah

Malaysia:
