PREV  Fall 1940 Adjudication:  NEXT

There is no shame (I hope!) in admitting that the orders this season crashed my adjudication software. I don't know what caused the error, but I started using RealWorld instead of Realpolitik and then it worked fine! There were perhaps too many things happening around the map this season!

Balkans was able to retake Macedonia from Turkey, but will loose Greece in the process. England was finally dislodged from the North Sea. It took Germany and USSR working together, but England will now have to retreat. England was able to hold on to Tripolitania, and moved north towards Smyrna, but lost London to the Germans. France stole south into Madrid as Spain left an opening, but mostly bounced with Spain and Italy in the water. Germany took London, dislodged England from the North Sea and tried to help Italy into Austria. Italy took possession of Austria, and tried to help Spain, but got confused which direction they were going and tried to get their fleet into the Sarah Desert. USSR moved north to claim Rumania, and south to claim Caucasus. That will be more supply centers that USSR controls. Turkey swapped Greece for Macadonia with the Balkans, and will take Bulgaria from USSR as well. Spain was able to hold on to Valencia, but lost out on Madrid and the possible capture of Tripolitania.

I am looking for retreat orders from England and Turkey. The English Fleet in the North Sea can retreat to Edinburgh, Yorkshire, La Manche, Belgium, Helgoland Bight, Skaggerak or disband. The Turkish Army in Macedonia can retreat to Istambul or disband.

Autumn 1940 retreat orders are due on Wednesday, January 22 at 8:30 pm PST (04:30 23-01-20 GMT)

Winter adjustments will be due on Thursday, January 23 at 8:30 PST (04:30 24-01-20 GMT). Assuming both England and Turkey do not disband, England will be removing one, France building one, Germany building three, Italy building two, USSR building one, Turkey building one, and Spain removing one. Feel free to turn in winter orders anytime between now and Thursday.
