To err is human. To blame someone else is politics.

PREV  Spring 2003 Adjudication:  NEXT

Hearts are breaking in Brazil as the Argentines capture the center of Brazilian culture, and turn Carneval into a celebration of everything Argentine. On the other side of the continent, Peru also is forced to retreat, but have the option of whether to defend their own capital or to make an attempt at something bold and brazen behind Colombian lines. Peruvian survival may hinge on the lack of communication between Colombia and Chile; both powers have two units bordering that SC and neither has the upper hand in claiming it. That sets up a very intriguing Fall turn to see if Peru can hold on, and what will happen when the Colombian and Chilean armies meet in the middle.

Before we get there, though, we need a retreat. Brazil has only one destination and I can handle that myself, but we will need to hear from Peru if the army will protect the capital or try a daring raid.
