PREV  Fall 2003 Adjudication:  NEXT

There's a lot of shuffling going on but the big surprise this fall is that the Peruvians avoid elimination by sneaking into a Brazilian home center! They did have support for a move on the Colombian capital but did not follow up (ah, the joys/perils of gunboat), instead opting for the tactical position. Away from Peru, Bolivia is now entirely controlled by Chile, and Rio has the Argentine flag flying over the Maracanã stadium, breaking the hearts of Brazilian fans the world over. We have three units that are dislodged and require retreats, none of which can be auto-adjudicated so instead we get a retreat phase! Retreats are due in two days' time, September 9th, 08:00 US-Eastern.

Aside: it's taken me too long to think about this but considering we're playing in the southern hemisphere, aren't the seasons all mixed up? Shouldn't the year start with fall moves, then go to spring, and finally to summer builds and disbands?
