Well folks,

The one alliance which has been both effective and constant throughout this game looks like it's been broken. England moves into the Channel and the North Atlantic this turn, as well as making major gains elsewhere, garnering control of Berlin and Sweden despite being held back in Moscow. The walls start to close in around Russia with France in Warsaw and Austria in Rumania, and Turkey only survives thanks to Austro/Russian conflict.. France, perhaps sensing the impending English betrayal, pulls back in the Med but only time (and perhaps Italy) will tell whether Italy will accept such a truce.

As a general FYI - this turn I received an adjustment to a set of orders at 22:27 today. This is past the deadline of 22:00 NZST, but as I had not adjudicated yet it is valid. In other words, until I actually adjudicate you are free to submit valid alterations to your orders.

I need two retreats. One from Russia and one from Germany. Both will be due in 24 hours, so by Saturday the 16th of May, 22:00 NZST.

German A Berlin can retreat to Prussia or Silesia or OTB.
Russian F Sweden can retreat to Finland or Gulf of Bothnia or
Baltic Sea or Skagerrak or OTB.

Unrelated - I think this is our first double retreat turn!

Italy-France: I detect some very fine hair-splitting in your last message. It's rather moot whether I have broken a DMZ in Pie, when you simultaneously moved into TYS which is so overtly hostile that we didn't bother considering as DMZ.

Italy-England: The Royal Navy to the north, the Regia Marina to the south. We could set up a grand convoy from Smy to StP at some point!

Italy-AH and Russia: The writing is on the wall if we three don't cooperate. I would like Ank please so that I can push France back for you. We also need to engineer the death of a Russian fleet so that we can get another northern army into play. Maybe FCon S ASyr-Ank. Russian FAnk disbands?
