PREV  Spring 1950 Adjudication:  NEXT

Here are Spring 1950 results.

First, the EOG proposals all failed. This should surprise no one.

I do not see the point of asking for EOG votes that everyone knows will fail. This is a lot of extra work and it is getting us nowhere. I am ready to only allow new EOG proposals after the Fall season, to be due with Spring orders. And I am not going to publish the same EOG proposal every season just because it failed last time!

Second, this season's orders are really no better than the last several seasons. OK, Italy was able to dislodge one Germany unit in Danzig, but look at the overall orders... Germany only actively attacked into one territory. All other moves were defensive. Turkey had lots of offensive moves, but 35% of Turkey's units sat motionless. Besides helping Italy take Danzig, nothing else was successful. Even with all Italy's moves, there was only one real attack on one supply center.

Even though I have read long arguments from each of you about your plans and strategy, I have not been convinced that there is a clear way forward based on breaking the stalemate. One purpose of this game is to win. It seems that no one is trying to win -- no one is willing to play the game.

All that said, I am willing to keep playing longer than the 1950 season, but I really do need to see the level of game play increase. Show me that you are interested in winning!

Fall orders are due on Thursday June 11 at 8:30 PM PDT (03:30 12-6-20 UTC)
