PREV  Spring 1902 Adjudication:  NEXT

Hi all,

For those of you hoping to gain clarity about the direction of this game and who is allied with who, this turn provided more questions than answers. In Western Europe, we have the British and French squaring off for the English Channel and Belgium with Germany aiding France enough to uphold the status quo, meaning that the Channel sits empty once again while Belgium remains under the Union Jack. In Scandinavia, England gets a fleet into the Norwegian Sea while fending off a Russian assault on Norway, while Russia and Germany bounce each other in Skaggerak. In Central Europe the Germans and Russians have better coordination as the Germans assist the Russians into Budapest while the planned Austrian shuffle of units falls to shambles with this invasion. In the Balkans, Greece remains unoccupied while Turkey moves into Rumania with Russian help and “rewards” the Czar for his help by also launching a fleet into the Black Sea. In the Italian Peninsula, Italy quietly goes about their business and appears to be on the verge of launching an assault on the French somewhere along the Mediterranean Coast.

With the only retreat available for the Austrian army in Rumania being A Rum-Gal I went ahead and made that move. Adam, if you would rather see the army disbanded let me know within the next 48 hours and I will send out a correction. Otherwise, we move to fall 1902 and these orders will be due November 1, 9:00 PM EST.
