A DIAS has been proposed for this season. Vote yes if in favour. Not voting will be taken as a "No" vote.

Hi gang,
Here is the spring turn.
First of all, there has been a 4 way draw proposed. Turkey-England-Russia-France. Please vote on this with your FALL orders.
Second, we needed one retreat following spring, for the Russian army in Warsaw. It had one option, Livonia, so I took the liberty of retreating it. If OTB is preferred, please let me know.
We are now on to Fall 1908, due in one week, Friday April 4, 18:00 MDT.
Maps attached, have fun.

DC 483, Fall 1910 Correction - alwayshunted (Mar 28, 2014, 1:17 pm) |
Hey Group,
A small correction to the adjudication last night. Marc has pointed out to me that North Sea actually moved to English Channel, not London. I think I just "missed" with the arrow when moving units last night and didn't check carefully enough. Anyhow, the result is that Gemany does not have a retreat due, instead it is actually already in English Channel. I will fix the maps tonight with the Winter turn.

Hi gang,
Here is the fall turn. Some fun things going on, unless you're playing France. Sadly we will be saying farewell to John after this turn. Thanks for sticking it out John, and for all the entertaining order submissions. On the fun side, there was a three fleet convoy... don't see those everyday.
We also have a retreat needed from Germany, see below. That is due with the winter turn tomorrow.
German F North Sea can retreat to Yorkshire or Norwegian Sea or
Skagerrak or Belgium or English Channel.
The retreat will not affect the adjustments:
Adjustments:
Austria: Supp 11 Unit 8 Build 1
England: Supp 1 Unit 2 Remove 1
France: Supp 0 Unit 1 Remove 1
Germany: Supp 15 Unit 13 Build 2
Italy: Supp 0 Unit 0 Build 0
Russia: Supp 2 Unit 3 Remove 1
Turkey: Supp 5 Unit 6 Remove 1
Everything due tomorrow at 18:00 Mountain.
Cheers,
Warren

Here is the fall turn. Some fun things going on, unless you're playing France. Sadly we will be saying farewell to John after this turn. Thanks for sticking it out John, and for all the entertaining order submissions. On the fun side, there was a three fleet convoy... don't see those everyday.
We also have a retreat needed from Germany, see below. That is due with the winter turn tomorrow.
German F North Sea can retreat to Yorkshire or Norwegian Sea or

The retreat will not affect the adjustments:

DC481 F10 GAME OVER - dybeck (Mar 28, 2014, 3:05 am) |
Thanks John for GMing a great game.
Had a difficult time for a while, with an ally that took an early bath, then an ally who spent more time trying to get hold of my SCs than working back to back...
But between building some solid working relationships and a great deal of luck, managed to get a foothold in the game.
It did feel somewhat like being at the eye of a cyclone while everyone around me attacked their neighbours in a vicious circle around me - although I wasn't about to play mediator to stop it happening!
You're all such a great bunch, I feel genuinely guilty to those I stabbed at the end - particularly to Michael, my fellow Brit, who was steadfast and trusting and a general all-round great guy. I can only apologise for giving in to temptation!
I look forward to playing with you all again. I tried to be as honest and straightforward with you all as I could, so I hope I haven't marked my own card too badly with you all.
Very best of luck with the rest of the Blitz!
Chris

Hey all,
The draw failed, and I apparently don't have moves from France. But the best France could have done is given Germany a mere 18 supply centers vs the 19 he ends with. The Germans win, and the first solo of the 2014 Blitz goes to Chris. It was a great game, and having played with many of you, I know there were some high caliber players on this map. May Round two treat you all well!
Rp does not want me to paste the moves after the game ends for some reason, so you'll have to look at the map. But Germany gains Por, Spa, and Mar. I love hearing End of Game notes from everyone. What went well? Where did the game go horribly wrong? What devious machinations were in place? Share your thoughts!

Well, three out of seven ain't bad..... oh, wait. Yes it is.
I got three sets of orders and one promise to send them soon. It's not like we're going to replace you considering it's round two, but please make sure you get some orders to me by Monday. If you don't the game will have to halt, it will throw the universe into chaos.... okay, well just the Winter Blitz, but close enough. Oh, and you will be frowned upon by your peers

Welcome diplomats, to round 2.
I am Warren, your GM for this game. I think only one of you was in my first round game... sorry for your luck Greg. Send me any questions or comments you have. I can't promise to always respond quickly, but usually I'm not bad. I also try to give you confirmations of receiving your orders, but no promises.
Sorry I've been a bit slow getting to this. I think you all are supposed to have prelims in by Thursday, two days from now.
Anyhow, I've tried to make these assignments as random as possible while making sure none of you get the same country you had last game. Hopefully you are all pleased with them..... but that never happens. Oh well, suck it up
Here are the assignments:

I can't promise to always respond quickly, but usually I'm not bad. I also try to give you confirmations of receiving your orders, but no promises.
Sorry I've been a bit slow getting to this. I think you all are supposed to have prelims in by Thursday, two days from now.
Anyhow, I've tried to make these assignments as random as possible while making sure none of you get the same country you had last game. Hopefully you are all pleased with them..... but that never happens. Oh well, suck it up

DC464 - Fall 1911 - Zoterik (Mar 27, 2014, 9:49 am) |
Looking at the final map, it looks like we had a fairly quiet year. But France emerges from a dangerous Spring looking quite well, although a disbanded fleet might give Germany the edge in the Atlantic. Furthermore, both Austria and France tried to move into the north Atlantic, most likely to outflank Germany, but the resulting bounce leaves both out-of-place. Germany also captured the Austrian capital, but in doing so may have made himself weak in the east. Still, Germany grows by one to come within four centres of the solo, but it will be a long and hard fight to that end.
The draw proposal has failed.
Retreating units can be ordered OTB within twenty-four hours from the sending of this message. Winter 1911 adjustments are due 30 March at 08:00 GMT.

I got three sets of orders and one promise to send them soon. It's not like we're going to replace you considering it's round two, but please make sure you get some orders to me by Monday.
