Prime Minister Abraham Kuyper returned from a one-week vacation to find that the tense situation in Europe now looks like inevitable war. His response...."Bah!" The collection of governments of Ruhr, Belgium, and Holland hope the PM has more up his sleeve than "Bah", but only time will tell. Until then, this reporter can only observe that defensive fortifications are being brought up to snuff, diplomatic emissaries are flying, boating, and taking the rail to all points of Europe, and that opiate sales have gone through the roof.
