No one like to play Italy and although I was reluctant, I had not played in so long, I made the decision to go for it anyway.
With that said, I had a blast keeping just about everyone on edge saying WTF is he doing? J
There was never an I/A alliance only a mutual understanding as we both had our agendas. I only had the one opportunity to take TRI but knew I could never support that move afterwards. I agree that the childish behavior from turkey played a crucial role in the game as it impacted the rest of us who bordered those countries that took advantage of the Slutan.
I had fun trouncing through Germany and back again. I am however not sure what hell England was doing. The goal here is to WIN. He had France down to 2 units and would have clearly controlled the whole western half of the map. Not even Austria could have built up a force fast enough to counter any offensive or blockade in WMED.
France on the other hand, so dam predicable. Even on my worse day, I out guessed France pretty much every time and might even been on a comeback with my newly formed agreement with Austria. We were just getting started.
This game could have easily gone to a 2 way victory or solo for Austria or England. Just when the game gets interesting, people stop. Never understood that. Since I was the lonely bull with 2 units left, who was I to try and buck the system if people want to quit.

Diplomats,
And so the diplomatic efforts succeed and peace is agreed upon across Europe. England and Austria share the victory, with France and Italy being the two survivors.
End game statements can be sent to the forum for those who wish to do so.
This was my first game GM:ing, and I made some mistakes (some bigger than others). However, I hope you all have had fun playing. I know that I've learned some things, and hope to be a better GM in future games.
I thank you all for participating, and hope to see you soon in another game on Diplomaticcorp.
Final map and Realpolitik file is included.
