[u:c7db69152b]The Tale of Three Emperors[/u:c7db69152b]
A cautionary tale.
Three emp'rors did stumble upon,
One Day on lovely Black Sea shore,
A gorgeous coastline rich in land
So each their sep'rate hats did don,
And stepped o'er rock and soil and sand
With the lofty Goal to colonize
The lands they thought were worth far more!
Seeing rivals on either side,
One Day on lovely Black Sea shore,
The emp'rors each proffered a hand
To his neighbour, though each had lied
In the past of expanding land.
For each could only hope and bided
Time, in which none of these was poor.
But Three is e'er an ill Amount,
One Day on lovely Black Sea shore,
So each looked at the others' land,
Decided after a quick Count:
Both of their neighbours must be canned!
Since "emp'ror" by its simple Sounding
Demands sat'lites about its core.
So while each proffered a wild grin,
One Day on lovely Black Sea shore,
Each offered Peace and Joy to kin,
While each prepared to start their Sin
And end a life, (What might have been
Tragedy to emp'rors, this kindling!)
Each neglected Aft looking Fore.
For as three emp'rors glared at friend,
One Day on lovely Black Sea shore,
Those other Kings and Coasts arise
And other lands to their Will bend
'Til the last other free land died:
Their situation now past Mending,
Three emp'rors pass away to Lore!
Sincerely,
