I think deadlines should be very rigid. debate up front, perhaps, but once set ... that's it.
To me, part of the game is knowing the deadlines. I know we all
get a little behind at times, and I've benefited from leniency as well as anyone, but a missed turn, or the realization that you have to rush to get a turn in is a lot more "realistic" than having the leniency taken advantage of.

Sorry, don't think I was very clear. Meant my preference would be to use the normal WB deadlines and hold people to them. It has worked fine in every other WB game I have been in.

I'd vote for the normal deadlines enforced as they are.

I'm missing one, or more orders, so the deadline gets pushed back to 8am BST on Friday.
I was thinking about this deadline thing and how deadlines should be deadlines. As an aside to this game, if you were in a future game with me and the deadline was, instead of 8pm BST on a Monday and Thursday, was 8AM on the Tuesday morning and Friday morning and enforced rigidly then how would you feel? I'd like to try it for the next Blitz.
