"Greece expects you not merely to die for her, for that is little,
indeed; she expects you to conquer. That is why each one of you, even
in dying, should be possesed by one thought alone – how to conserve
your strength to the last so that those who survive may conquer.
And you will conquer, I am more than sure of this."

- Eleftherios Venizelos speaking to Greek sailors at the beginning of
the First Balkan War.

PM Venizelos would be proud of his Greek sailors this season, who with
their Serbian allies have seized the initiative in the war against
Italy by launching a daring convoy into the Italian homeland. Serbia
does not fare so well herself however, and faces a combined
Austrian/Romanian attack from the north. The fields of Serres turn
red, as Serb, Buglarian, and Ottoman forces clash in an inconclusive
battle, causing a massive chain reaction of bounces across the
Bulgar/Ottoman front. Romanian and Bulgarian fleets take to the sea,
and threaten the Ottoman rear guard.

As always, my thanks to all who have been CCing me on player
negotiations - please keep it up!

Diplomacy games may contain lying, stabbing, or deliberately deceiving communications that may not be suitable for and may pose a hazard to young children, gullible adults, and small farm animals.
