Farsightedness: The Butterfly Effect states that a butterfly that flaps its wings in Malaysia could cause a typhoon in British Columbia. So too could minor variations in one part of the board affect play across the board. The Captain of Watch asesses the board for all possible impacts - both immediate and long-term.

Guys,
I was trying to avoid inconviencing you all, nt adding complications.
I have already submitted orders for next season. If i am able to, I will try to continue to do so for future seasons. The gaps due to Ben's being away may help with that: I just don't know.
If a season comes with no orders from me, why not just continue without me? Maybe that way you'll get a more satisfactory conclusion.

To all players in games I am playing in and running:
I have a vacation planned (the first real vacation in two years!) for
June 19-27, and will shortly thereafter be heading up to Wisconsin for
annual training with the Reserves from July 11-July 31. Potentially,
I might not have internet access for either of those events (very
likely not from June 19-27, probably will but not certain for July
11-31). More to follow, just a heads up for now - potential delays
ahead.
