I'd like to try to get this game back onto schedule, with the Spring 02 moves due on Monday evening at 2000GMT. Given this is a Gunboat game I'm hoping that is OK with everyone. If anyone has any major issues then tell me and I'll think again, but otherwise I'd like to make the deadline for the retreats, builds and weekend press 2000GMT tomorrow, Saturday 15 June.
Don't forget, you can make your build(s) conditional upon Italy's retreat, if you so wish.

a problem long term, but given Germany's aggressive attempts to grab my
vineyards in Burgundy, I'm happy to work with you to rid Europe of
German aggression for once and for all. Throw your fleets against
Germany and I'll throw my armies his way.

Germany, Germany, Germany. A German/French alliance needs you to
stay out of Burgundy. Build a fleet this winter to show your good
intentions and i'm all yours. Together we'll get the English drinking
fine Bordeuax reds and quaffing good German beer.

to Austria and/or Italy - Shall we form one of those anti-Turkish deals

France, France, France. Despite your designs on Iberia I know
better. That fleet is headed for the Mediterranean and when your back
is turned, you'll be stabbed by Germany or I. Keep the fleet in
Portugal and we can work on Germany.

Russia, Russia, Russia. Thank you so much for giving me free rein
in the north. Germany will betray you, that much is known. Watch out
for the fleet build in Kiel, and he'll have you out of Sweden by next
Fall. I may even help him.

PIRATES!! PIRATES!!!
Yes, fellow citizens of Europe, you've heard this Roving Reporter correctly!
Terrible
news for the European continent! Pirates from the dark continent have
succeeded in crossing the Med, landing several gorilla troops on shore,
and made off with not one, but *TWO* world leaders in the past 48 hours!
That is not a typo! *TWO* world leaders, kidnapped by
*GORILLA* troops! Armed guards report, in both cases, baby chimps were
lying in the road in front of the motorcades. When the cars stopped,
they were besieged by 3 silverbacks and several female and male
gorillas! Guards and civilians were knocked aside, pure focus made on
only the leaders. No injuries were sustained by anyone involved.
"It was as if they were programmed to go for a specific
target", said one bystander of the apes actions. "They were purposely
hitting people with closed hands, or just shoving them aside. They
grabbed the President, wrapped him in vines, and carried him away".
Spotter planes reported losing the gorillas in the trees,
but discovered later that they made their way to the coast. All
gorillas were rounded up, accounted for, and sent to zoos in the United
States.
Unfortunately, there were no signs of the missing leaders.
Rescue teams are combing the forests, hillsides, beaches, and towns.
They are also calling on the general public to assist in this
Continental crisis! If you happen to discover a writhing bundle of
vines, call the authorities immediately!

Russia to England: Assuming I'm blocked out of Swe and there's a Fleet in Nwy, can you support F GoB - Swe in Spring 1902?
