Austria's Bulgarian army can only retreat to Serbia, so I have auto-retreated it there. Austria, you have till 2000GMT tomorrow (Tuesday 25 June) to retreat it off-the-board instead should you wish to do this. This is also the deadline for any press anybody would like to announce to the world before the Winter disbandments.
We have some telegraphs from our correspondents. The war in Europe must be hotting up as they seem to be getting shorter with each passing year. Enjoy!
---------------------------------------------------------------
France to Italy: My word is my bond. Let's remain friends.
---------------------------------------------------------------
France to England: Actions speak louder than words
---------------------------------------------------------------
Italy, help would be appreciated.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Germany to England: Fine, but i'll be needing Belguim sooner rather than later. Like next year soon.
---------------------------------------------------------------
England to Russia: Hope that support into Sweden is noted and we can use that swedish fleet to good effect going forward
---------------------------------------------------------------
Russia -- Let's keep working together. Turkey should fall quickly, and Italy can only keep this going until France moves West.
France -- Come on over, the water's fine!
---------------------------------------------------------------
Germany to Italy: How long can you hold off the Austrians?
---------------------------------------------------------------
France to Germany: Offers to give up centres seldom manifest
themselves. I'm not the one attacking you here! And I'd note that
Russia getting support into Sweden is eveidence of a Russia/England
alliance
---------------------------------------------------------------
Turkey to Russia: This is Fun.
---------------------------------------------------------------
That concludes this edition of the Catalan Chronicle - we hope you have enjoyed reading it. The next deadline is the Autumn 02 retreats phase and press, which is 2000GMT tomorrow - Tuesday 25 June. Winter 02 builds and press: Thursday 27 June 2000GMT.
